  Passengers are outraged as Bus Eireann announces that they will be cancelling a number of buses in eastern parts of Ireland. The POA – Prison Officers Association has released a statement describing the arson attack as “Deeply disturbing and sinister” Jim Mitchell the spokesperson for the POA said the second attack on a prison officers car in the area in 2 years just highlights the difficult nature of the job. Alarming rise in Cork cases of STI’s including HIV

Record numbers of people were diagnosed with HIV in Ireland last year among other STI’s In Cork alone there has been an increase in reported cases. Grenfell Tower Fire, a long-coming consequence of negligence

During the morning hours of June 14th 2017 a fire broke out in the 24 story apartment building, Grenfell Tower which housed 400 to 550 people. The fire started in the lower floors of the building at 12:54am before spreading quickly through the building, trapping the residents.The fire alarms did not go off so residents were trapped in the building.
