Bruce Forsyth Dies aged 89

The family of Bruce Forsyth have announced that the presenter has passed away this afternoon peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Wilnelia and all his children.

Bruce well known for his catch phrase  “nice to see you, to see you nice” was a household name not only in the UK but also in Ireland. Generations of kids growing up with him performing and presenting well known Saturday night television shows over more than 50 years.

After struggling with illness sadly his health deteriorated and he contracted bronchial pneumonia.”

He is someone who will be remembered in the future as an iconic figure of television.
