Homeless woman found dead in Cork City centre
A homeless woman has been found dead in Cork City centre.
The woman was found in Lower Oliver Plunkett Street in an area where a lot of homeless sleep rough at the back of a hotel.
The area is used by homeless who are unable to access the nearby Simon Shelter in Anderson’s Quay.
The woman found in Cork is one of three homeless people found dead in Ireland in the last week.
Clear signs that the homeless crisis is not a priority for our Government and the safe guarding of its citizens.
No details have been released as of yet on the woman.
Now it is about time as a society to tell our representatives to STOP! Enough is enough. Something needs to change.
