Independence is a Music Festival which in recent years has become a household name and has really set the standard for what a festival should provide as far as entertainment, accommodation, and food and beverages. running from 4th – 6th of august in deer farm, Mitchelstown, County Cork

What to expect from Indiependence 2017

Food Wise, Expect big names. Abrakebabra is one that would ring a bell with many festival goers. Taco fries are to die for. And that is just 1 big name out of many. When I was there the food selection was so varied I ended up being spoilt for choice.

On the day:

Arriving at Independence is a small task. Well organised, and beyond expectations comes to mind. Usually arriving at one of many festivals I’ve attended its a 12:30 gate open and by the time you actually get in the first day is under way and its a rush to get organised and get to actually enjoy the festival. Not with Independence. from start to finish any festival go-er would appreciate the organisation and planning gone into such an event that the customer comes first. from start to finish the organisation is impeccable. Ask any staff member a question no matter how big or small you are answered.

Camping Areas:

They are well supervised, maintained, and without interruption. Its not your usual over populated area. They are supervised heavily and tolerate no one that impinges other festival goers.
