Its another action packed weekend on the football scene for the ladies of Cork this Easter time.

The games get underway on Saturday when the U-16s take on Kerry in their Round one opener in the Munster championship.

That game is being played in John Mitchels GAA Complex in Tralee at 2pm.

Shortly after that game gets underway the U-14s travel to take on Waterford in Munster U -14 A Championship Semi – Final.

That game takes place at Ballinameela GAA Club in Waterford with a 2.30 pm throw in.

On Easter Sunday April 1st the Senior ladies make the journey to Galway in the LIDL NFL DIVISION 1 (ROUND 7).

That game is being hosted at Clonberne GAA Pitch with a 2 pm start time.

Then on Bank Holiday Monday April 2nd its the turn of the Minor Cork Ladies when they meet old rivals Kerry in Cloughduv in their Munster Minor Championship Round Three encounter.

That game has a 2 pm start also.

Try and get out to support the teams in any way you can.

From grass roots upwards the future of Cork ladies football looks bright. And with the work at club level playing a vital part in the journey, the coming years are sure to bring good days for Cork.

We also wish Naomh Abán U-12 players the best of luck as they play in Lá Náisiúnta Blitz na gClub Gaeltachta in Croke Park on Monday, 2nd April. A very exciting day for these young players to play in Croke Park.
