Sara Bear – Full Of Soul

Unity Media On an extremely talented vocalist, songwriter and all round performer Sara Bear.

Sara Bear is a vocalist, songwriter and performer originally from Kildare now based in Cork City, who writes mainly in the folk, blues and soul tradition. She is currently in studio recording her third single.

Sara Bear brings an incomparably unique tone to the vibrant and ever growing music scene of Cork City. She has become familiar with audiences within Cork City and national venues. She has done a number of prestigious support slots this year such as supporting John Spillane, Mick Flannery, Cry Monster Cry, Martin Harley, Wally Page and Ye Vagabonds.

She is strongly influenced by Bonnie Raitt, Patty Griffin, Lianne La Havas, Lisa Hannigan and Susan Tedeschi.

She was named in Hot Press Magazine as “one to watch” in Cork city women in music, and was named on Dublin City FM as “Best new comer” and “best new single”, this year.
